This is a Victorian Trade Card advertising the Al. Martz’ Specialty Company and Brass Band. It does not say where they are but directs that you should “Go and See” them. It has a Good Luck horseshoe on it. It is 3 & 1/2″ by 2 & 1/2″ in very nice condition with nothing on the back.
V. Price & Co., Tailors, Chicago, Illinois. It features an embossed card with a lovely girl ice skating. The card has piercings at each corner like flowers and is in very nice condition. There is a little age darkening on the back but no tears, stains or writing on it.
This is a very pretty Victorian trade card for Jas. S. Kirk & Co. Soap Makers of Chicago, Illinois. It is titled “Magnolia” and has a boy offering the beautiful blossom of a saucer magnolia to a lady. It is 5″ by 3 & 1/4″ and in excellent undamaged condition. There is no information on the back. It was made in the Victorian period between 1890 and 1899.
This is a Victorian trade card advertising the New Cyclone Ranges sold at W.N. & M.G. Smith of Taunton, Massachusetts. It has a little paper residue on the back and is 4 & 3/4″ by 3″ and in very nice bright condition.
This is a Victorian Trade Card advertising Sterling Pianos. It features a little girl holding a fan with a big hat on her shoulders. It is about 5 & 1/2″ by 3 & 1/2″ with no information on the back.
This is an early Victorian trade card before they started including advertising on the front and/or back. It is a sweet picture of 2 children sharing a book. It is signed on the back in faint pencil.
On the front is a baby in a red dress eating out of a bowl that says McLaughlin’s. It is 3″ by 2 & 1/8″ with advertising on the back. It is in good condition.
This is an unusual embossed Victorian Trade Card. It has a lovely bouquet in a boat. On the back is advertising for Lion Coffee manufactured by the Woolson Spice Co. It is 6″ by 4 & 1/4″ and in very nice condition.
This is a Victorian trade card advertising Union Pacific Tea Co. On the back is advertising for the Union Pacific Tea Co. in Rutland, Vermont. It is 4 & 3/8″ by 3″ on very light cardboard.
This is an early Victorian trade card when they were handed out as complimentary gifts without advertising on them. People then exchanged them as greeting cards. This one has a bouquet on the left with a scene of people at a lake. There is no information on the back. It is 4 & 5/8″ by 2 & 5/8″ in very nice undamaged condition.
