Vintage 1940s -50s Frank’s Dove CREAM of TARTAR SPICE TIN Cincinnati, OH
Vintage Frank’s Dove Cream of Tartar tin (1 1/2 oz.). This was my mother’s or grandmother’s. We lived in West-central Ohio.The cream of tartar was packed by The Frank Tea & Spice Co. of Cincinnati, OH. The tin shows patina on the top and a small portion of the red paint is missing on one of the sides, as well as some spots near the two doves on the front of the tin. An interesting homemade angel food cake recipe is on the back. The tin has no dents or dings. We are downsizing so getting rid of these type of things. Tins measures approximately 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″ x 1 1/4″.
