This is a pair of Victorian-era trade cards issued by the Baldwin & Miller Co. in 1881, advertising a Edwin C. Burt Fine Shoes at their location, 402 Main St, Bridgeport, CT. The cards feature drawing of cherubs, and two different syles of boot.
Condition: Pre-Owned (Normal age-related edge wear. Remarkable condition for its age. Due to age, item may show signs of natural toning which only adds to its character and authenticity. ).
This auction is for an antique, cardboard advertising sign that measures 11″ by 9″ in size. Advertising is for Red Ball Footwear by Ball-Band. There is some soiling on the sign. Circa 1963.
Card with children is especially worn with small tear at the top and corner wear. All cards have been removed from a scrapbook with resulting residue and abrasions on the reverse.
