Each item is first tested (if applicable), then it is carefully cleaned and polished to the best of my ability. Once clean, it has photos taken of it and then is immediately sealed in plastic and securely stored in a lidded bin within a dedicated, heated storage area. This ensures the item arrives exactly like the photos, clean, protected, and ready to use right out of the package (unless it is a kitchen item, then I would clean it again).
