****** WE SUPER PACK FOR EXTRA PROTECTION! ***** This old trade card is part of early California history. Some made it and some went bust! This old Jewelry Store was being auctioned off. No exact city but certainly in the Bay Area. Found in the trade card album with San Fransisco and close by area cards."Public Auction, of the Entire Stock of the late firm of Hubash, Larsen & Wilson * TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER, FOR CASH." Look at the many items being sold! wow! On the lower edge, "All to be sold in single lots to the Highest Bidder FOR CASH* J. H. French, Auctioneer" This was printed to get buyers, and it probably did! This is the first PUBLIC AUCTION trade card I've ever had, and it's interesting! Here it is around 120 years later! Printed to potential bidders of everything in a jewelry store, in 1880's San Francisco. The red is vivid and a bit brighter than the scans show. Some damage on the back, but most everything is readable. Maybe you know which city? Help is always appreciated! Please look closely at the 3 large scans. *** Size approx. 2 7/8" x 4 3/8". **** Both sides are shown quite large, but if you have a question, please email me. We SUPER pack everything we sale for extra protection while in the Postal System. GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC & OLD! ALWAYS GLAD TO COMBINE MANY CARDS WITH NO INCREASE IN POSTAGE TO THE BUYER! WE SELL & MAIL WORLD WIDE, BUT THROUGH EBAY GLOBAL SHIPPING ONLY! ************** NO REPRODUCTIONS! *************
