This is an original, handwritten dues receipt from the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers (BLE), dated February 28, 1907. The receipt features a detailed illustration of a steam locomotive in the upper left corner. It was issued to 'Bro. John Murphy' for a special assessment of twenty-five cents.
