This is an extremely rare and beautiful artifact from the early days of the retail giant. The classic Macy’s logo used from the 1940’s - 1980. The former owner was a Macy’s employee for decades. Its function remains a mystery. We believe that it may be a counter top department sign/card holder. It is made of aluminum and has a 1mm slit that may have be for a sign or card. It measures approximately 6”w x 2.5”h. Very good condition and as mentioned extremely rare.
