At auction is a 1994 Maurice Lenell cookie tin. The label on the green lid says that this tin held Home Style Shortbread Cookies and had a net wt. of 1lb.(16 oz.) 450. This older cookie tin is tan with light red shading and has three square pictures of different Walking Santas. In between each Santa picture is a small portrait of a young child, each portrait being of a different child. Below one child’s picture is a tag saying “Loving Christmas Wishes; below another is Christmas Greetings and below the third is A Merry Christmas. On the bottom is a listing of the Ingredients, Nutrition Facts and chart, the bar code and the name of the tin “Walking Santa”. Dimensions are 6 1/4” tall and 5 1/4” IN DIAMETER. This tin has a rust around the edges of the top of both the lid and the tin. There is rust at the seam around the bottom, both outside and inside.
